In the beginning, in a perfect world, after God had created Adam and Eve, He set aside the 7th day of the week as a special holy time. He made the Sabbath, rested, put His blessing on it and invited His children to rest. It was a day for them to worship and celebrate God's creative acts. It is significant that that first Sabbath day, was the first full day of Adam and Eve's life. Their first act on that very first full day was to worship their creator God, and to celebrate His creative acts with Him. Right from creation week at the beginning, the Sabbath was, and still is a time to worship God, commune with Him, commemorate His work and praise Him for who He is and what He has done for us.

In a perfect world God Rested on the Sabbath, Blessed it, and made it Holy.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth...And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made...And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made. Genesis 1:1; 2:2-3.

No mundo perfeito, Deus descansou no Sábado, Abençoou-o e o Santificou.
